The Wall Street Journal
reports
that Congressman Edolphus Towns, D - New York and recipent of two
Countrywide "VIP" loans, continues to use his influence as the chairman
of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to prevent
investigations into such loans made to members of Congress. Apparently
he does not know the definition of "recuse" or "shame". If this is
Nancy Pelosi's head swamp cleaner, I think we can safely expect that
the swamp will just get more fetid than ever.
